Digging The Hole Deeper

It is also being reported that Kerry appearances on the campaign trail to promote cratz candidates are being cancelled. Kerry will not be appearing in Minnesota, nor will he be appearing with Bob Casey in Philadelphia.

True to form, the Kerry Spin Machine has this to say about why appearances will not be forthcoming:

"We made a decision not to allow the Republican hate machine to use Democratic candidates as proxies is the distorted spin war," said David Wade, a Kerry spokesman, in a statement.

Yeah, right. That darn old Republican hate machine again. Except that doesn't explain Imus telling Kerry to shut up, Harold Ford telling Kerry to apologize, and Bruce Braley, a cratz candidate in Iowa, wanting Kerry to stay away from him.

Kerry really ought to follow the advice of Bill Clinton when it comes to digging holes. Willie says the best thing to do when you find yourself in a hole is stop digging. Add Imus' shutting up into the mix and we might just have Kerry right where we want him.
