I Say A Little Prayer For...

George Bush and Dick Cheney. I mean down-on-my-knees, eyes closed, head bowed, earnestly begging God to see to the continuing good health of both those men. Not that I wouldn't always pray for the good health of our President and Vice-President, but now is a crucial time to do it. And that would be thanks to the Cratz.

An unexpected gift from all those voters who put the Cratz back in the majority in the US House of Representatives, have given us something that will be providing me with nightmares for years to come. Nancy Pelosi is now Speaker of the House.

Do you have ANY idea what that MEANS? Good God. It means that Nancy Pelosi is now third in line to be President of the US. So if something happens to Bush and Cheney, our lives are in the hands of Stretch Pelosi.

What's so bad about Nancy Pelosi? Well, if you discount her hypocrisy and if you overlook the fact that she seems to think she's Atella The Hen, I guess there's just the fact that her voice sounds like a sausage grinder crunching shards of glass whenever she opens her mouth. I'd never make it through a State of the Union Address without wanting to sweep Pelosi into the nearest trash bin.

And then there is what she says:

"As a member of the House Intelligence Committee, I am keenly aware that the proliferation of chemical and biological weapons is an issue of grave importance to all nations. Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process."

"The president led us into the Iraq war on the basis of unproven assertions without evidence; he embraced a radical doctrine of pre-emptive war unprecedented in our history; and he failed to build a true international coalition."

"We must remain focused on the greatest threat to the security of the United States, the clear and present danger of terrorism. We know what we must do to protect America, but this Administration is failing to meet the challenge. Democrats have a better way to ensure our homeland security."

"If people are ripping your face off, you have to rip their face off."

"If you take the knife off the table, it's not very frightening anymore."

"Anybody who's ever dealt with me knows not to mess with me."

Nancy Pelosi has been described by one Democratic activist as, "Teresa Heinz without the accent." If that's not enough to curl your toes up to your eyebrows, nothing is.

So thanks all you Cratz voters who turned the tables in the House of Representatives. I hope you're satisfied.
