THIS Is NOT An Apology
"I sincerely regret that my words were misinterpreted to wrongly imply anything negative about those in uniform..." John Kerry
Not only does John Kerry need to learn something about telling the truth, he also needs to learn how to form and deliver an apology.
If one is truly sorry for hurting someone else, an apology is supposed to take responsibility for that behavior in an effort to heal the feelings of the one injured. If the words offered are qualified in any way, then what is being received is not an apology at all. It's that simple.
So when Kerry says he regrets that his words were misinterpreted, he is not apologizing to anyone. He is feeling sorry for himself and making it clear (in case we missed it the first time) that we are not smart enough to get his intent.
While I am not part of the military, I am among those who was offended by his words. I do not accept his feeble attempt at excusing his behavior, and I will not accept responsibility for being part of the problem in the first place.
It is time for John Kerry to sit down and STFU because he's making a fool of himself.... AGAIN!

He meant what he said when he said it, by many of his past comments regarding our soldiers, he's made it clear that the holds them in low regard.
See same thing with Clinton...while I loathed Clinton, and all of his policies, I still would have had some respect for him, had he just said two things.
1) Yes, I admit it, I did inhale.
2) Yup, I had sex with that woman. I admit it, but so would you if you were married to Hillary.
The fact that sKerry can't in any way form a real apology, to the soldiers he so clearly slammed shows him, and all of those who nominated him for President in 2004 and those who for the last two days have been making excuses for him, for who they really are.
I made the same point about his apology on my blog. This man is full of so much contempt for the average man he can't even bring himself to apologize. This arrogant SOB is just 'always right.' What a blue-blooded @$$.
