Election 2008: Bring On The Cratz!

It has been reported on The Drudge Report that Governor Bill Richardson has formed an exploratory committee to look into the possibility of his becoming POTUS in 2008. It has also been reported that Senator Hillary Clinton has the same goal in mind.

That means so far we've got two of three stooges ready, willing, and able to lead the United States. Fortunately this is not Hamlin, neither of those mental giants has the charisma of the Pied Piper, so we don't have to be concerned about too many of our citizens marching off to oblivion following those two pathetic examples of what will crawl out from under rocks and run for Prez in the early campaign stages.

First, there's Bill Richardson, currently Governor of New Mexico. Richardson served in the Clinton Administration as Secretary of Energy. You can read about the scandal surrounding his tenure HERE and HERE.

It should also be noted that in 1995, Bill Richardson traveled to Baghdad and convinced Saddam Hussein to release two U.S. aerospace workers who had wandered across the Kuwaiti border into Iraq. Those of us who have heard Bill Richardson speak on various political talk shows understand that he was able to accomplish his success with Hussein because, for Hussein, it was either do what Richardson wanted or be bored to death with gibberish. Richardson was so proud of his achievement, he stated that he would not be using photographs of the the aerospace workers and him in his campaign. This is a typical Bill Richardson statement; you figure it out.

But the BIGGIE, the real champion of all those sprinting for the POTUS position (okay, in her case it's probably not sprinting but more of a heavy hipped, thick ankle sashay) is.... drumroll puhleeze... Hillary Rodham Clinton. This is hardly gasp-worthy news since Hillary has been boasting since she's roughly 2 years old that she's wanted to be Prez. Fortunately wanting and actually doing are two very different things.

There are so many reasons not to elect Hillary Clinton to anything, and that would include even the Miss Cankles of 2007 Contest, that it's hard to know where to begin. Since Hillary declared herself co-president during the Clinton Admoinistration, it is thus fair to include her right beside Bill for all the scandals, including the impeachment debacle, the US endured during the HillBilly years. To read more about what charges that entails, go HERE and then go HERE to read about what Hillary can do on her own.

I am most curious to see what the Cratz, who all took such high moral ground during the name calling of the George W Bush years when "Liar, liar, pants, on fire" was/is the national mantra, say in defense of Hillary who never developed an even passing acquaintanceship with the truth her whole political life. William Safire put it best when he noted that Hillary Clinton is a "congenital liar."

But there's more. I'd like Hillary to explain the FJB and its relevance to her anti-semetic attitude. I'd like her to try to explain away her knowledge of Bill's many affairs and her deliberate cover-up of each and every one of them. If we're going to point fingers and scream, "Liar!" at anyone, Hillary more than deserves first dibs.

This is not the time to bring in the clowns to run US policy either domestic or abroad. There's too much at stake to be considering has-beens who cannot hold up under even minor scrutiny to run the country. Hillary Rodham Clinton brings way too much baggage with her to be Prez of the United States. And I am not referring to either those over-sized carry-ons under her eyes, or the boxes of stuff she managed to heist on the way out the White House door first time around. I'm talking about unresolved matters like where her campaign contributions come from and to whom she owes what favors for these donations. Remember Johnny Chung, Charlie Trie, and John Huang? And what about the Lippo Group itself, and all those Buddhist Monks who took vows of poverty yet came up with pretty darn nice campaign contributions. And what about Travelgate? And Whitewater?

Wes Prudden said it best where the Clintons are concerned. He said:

"Bill and Hillary Clinton were what landed at the nation's feet the day the body politic threw up."

I say let them rest in peace. Under no circumstances resuscitate.

It's almost sad that so many pundits are considering the presidency of that c-word to be cut and dried. I don't have the url here, but Dick Morris is starting a no Hillary campaign, which should be fairly easy to find.
This is a very good post. I know there is always a good reason to stop here.
