Nobel Peace Prize Nominee: Al Gore?? ROTFLOL!

It has been announced by a Norweigan lawmaker that Al Gore has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. The reason for this travestynomination is because of Gore's work to make the world aware of the dangers of global warming.
In my opinion the Nobel Peace Prize ceased to have any relevance when it was awarded to Yasser Arafat. It got tossed under the bus completely when Jimmy Carter won it. Now Al Gore is nominated for furthering a theory which in some scientific quarters is still considered to be a myth. And this is the same Al Gore, mind you, who professes to have invented the Internet.
You know, I'm getting way too old for this shit, and it's time to face the fact that it isn't going to either go away or stop.
What is terribly amusing to me, though, is speculating on Bill Clinton's reaction to this news. I mean, Clinton hired a PR firm to lobby his name for the NPP, and he was unsuccessful. It would be a hoot if Gore won just to see the look on Clinton's face.
I can't wait to see how this one turns out.

I really doubt from this post that the Nobel Peace Prize very premise is really acceptable to you. So, I doubt it really ever had any import to your way of thinking.
So, why not say you don't approve of the Nobel Peace Prize.
If I didn't approve of the Nobel Peace Prize, then that's exactly what I would have said. In fact, I don't disapprove of the Peace Prize; I am just disgusted at some of the nominees the group chooses. There are many who may be deserving of this prize. Al Gore, Jimmy Carter, Yasser Arafat, and Bill Clinton are just, in my judgement, not among them.
