Fibberal Trash Talk

Smiley from millan.netDavid Singleton, a reporter with the Scranton Times-Tribune, quoted an unknown male member of a Sarah Palin political rally as having shouted "Kill Him" when Barack Obama's name was mentioned by congressional candidate, Chris Hackett. Not surprisingly several media sources, including your up-to-the-minute Conservative bashing thinks-he's-Edward-R-Murrow Keith Olbermann gleefully reported this story over and over again as proof that those lunatic wingers are gonna assassinate Barack Obama. The Fibbies have this mania for insisting that wingers are out for blood lust whenever a racial minority is involved in anything.

Turns out, this story isn't true. Turns out that the Secret Service couldn't find anyone to corroborate this story, and the only one who heard those words uttered was David Singleton, the guy who wrote the story.

This is why I call 'em Fibberals, people. The Fibbies I've seen never once allow facts to get in the way of the message they want us to hear. I've lost count of every time some Fibbie came up with an outlandish accusation only to be unable to prove what he or she's stated as fact. That's when we get the nonsense about "documentaries with satire" or someone like Al Franken, just having been totally discredited, sitting there with a shell-shocked look on his face unable to defend himself or explain why he just told so many lies about Bernie Goldberg.

It is one hell of a desperate ploy and a shameful way to try to get elected when Fibbies believe they'll help their candidate by using their positions to publish outrageous lies like the "Kill Him" debacle. But that's when you get with Fibbies. Over and over and over again.
